SAFE can design, install and maintain emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS 5266-8: 2004 / BS EN 50172: 2004. We supply industry-leading products, and all our highly trained engineer-electricians are fully competent and qualified in accordance to BS 7671: 2008 IEE Wiring Regulations.

It’s important that emergency lighting is regularly checked within the requirements of BS 5266-8: 2004 / BS EN 50172: 2004, so whilst we can carry out all necessary periodic checks, we also offer our customers training in functional monthly checks as per the BS.

When carrying out annual assessments of emergency lighting, we check all luminaries and dry or wet battery cells (central battery unit only) and report any faulty or ageing lights before carrying out any further works.

We have a highly qualified design and technical team as well as experienced, expert maintenance and installation teams, so you can be assured that all our work complies with the current version of the British Standards.
